Meet Dr. Dickson
Dr. Dickson received his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of North Texas and is a graduate of (Baylor College of Dentistry) Texas A & M University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he served on the faculty as a clinical instructor in the Department of Fixed Prosthetics.
Dr. Dickson is in full-time private practice with a special interest in family dentistry. He is a member of the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Dickson has served his community as a member of the Gainesville Independent School District Board of Education and as President of the Board, as well as a Regent for North Central Texas College and Chairman of the Board of Regents. He has served as a member of the Advisory Board for the University of North Texas College Science and is Chairman of the Southwestern Diabetic Foundation / Camp Sweeney, a summer camp and medical educational facility for children with Type I Diabetes
Dr. Dickson and his wife Harriett live in Gainesville, Texas. They have one daughter, Beth, and two grandsons. His hobbies include photography, traveling, bicycling, and hiking. He is a member of Whaley United Methodist Church.
