Dr. Gates grew up in Carrollton and graduated top of his class from the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Texas School of Dentistry.

Dr. Gates is excited to serve his community in the Gainesville area and help you achieve your optimal dental health. His emphasis on patient comfort is keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, which enables him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field.

Dr. Gates has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical and root canal treatments. He places a strong focus on his post-doctoral education, using it in conjunction with the most state-of-the-art technologies. He has been involved in placing over three thousand dental implants and has advanced training in conscious sedation.

His approach to your treatment starts by patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, he will review and discuss all your treatment options.

When he is not working, Dr. Gates enjoys traveling, exploring, time with family, and training his dog Duke. Duke just received his official status as a certified therapy dog and will be visiting local hospitals.
